Questions about Toy Swaps
The host sets the cost of their Toy Swap tickets offering total flexibility in how you want to design your Toy Swap and interact with your guests. Think about how much money one might spend to buy a new toy or multiple new toys. It is far more likely than not, that parents will be willing to pay a minimal dollar amount to opt into your Toy Swap. The return is getting “new” toys (often multiple toys) for their kids at a much lower cost than buying those toys new. Plus, they get the opportunity to pass on the unused toys from their home. And have fun doing it!
Two Ways!
1. Host A Toyago Toy Swap
When you host a Toyago Toy Swap, you maximize your potential to make money.
- Take home 75 percent of your total ticket sales as a Host. Of the other 25 percent, the majority goes to cover Advocate Program bonuses and the rest to Toyago to keep our lights on.
- Automatically be enrolled as a Toyago Superhero Advocate to earn the max referral bonus amounts.
2. Be a Toyago Toy Swap Advocate
Creating a Toyago account automatically enrolls you in the Advocate program. Make money when you refer a friend who goes on to host a Toyago Toy Swap.
There are two levels of Advocates: Sidekick and Superhero. Learn more about these in the Advocate Program questions below.
You have two options. (1) Get paid through PayPal. You will need a PayPal account for this option. (2) Get payment as a digital gift card (think prepaid cash card) through Google Tango Cards.
It’s totally up to you! Toyago leads you through a hassle free process to create a Toy Swap that fits into your schedule and can be organized according to your availability. Host a ladies’ night, have some brunch and bubbly, loop in your community, or keep it small and low key. Let your capacity and personality be your guide.

Questions about our Advocate Program
You can earn referrals by sharing your unique referral links, or when an attendee from a Toyago Toy Swap you hosted, goes on to host their own event. Here is a link to all the details you need to know: https://toyago.com/referral-program-terms/
Here are the Advocate levels and how you earn:
Sidekick
- Automatic Advocate Status upon account creation.
- Make money by sharing your Referral Link.
- Earn 10% of ticket sales for all Toyago Toy Swaps hosted by any direct referral.
Superhero
- Level up to this Advocate Status once you host your first Toyago Toy Swap.
- Make money by sharing your Referral Link.
- Make money by selling tickets to your Toy Swap.
- Earn 10% of ticket sales for all Toyago Toy Swaps hosted by any direct referral.
- Earn 10% of ticket sales for any guest that comes to your Toy Swap then hosts their own Toy Swap.
- Earn an additional 5% of ticket sales for a second level referral (guests of your guests/referrals – are we still tracking?)
When you create a Toyago account you agree to the terms and conditions by clicking the checkbox on our registration page. You are automatically enrolled in the Advocate Program – Sidekick Status. You can start sharing your referral code right away! Go to the Refer a Friend page to copy your link or fill in the form to share through our platform!

Your earnings from as a Toy Swap Host will be available for payment 7 days after the close of the event.
Your Advocate Program earnings are available 7 days after the close of a Toy Swap hosted by one of your referrals.
